Rod joined the movement a few days after they rebranded Fuckelon as Stopelon, on May 21st 2021. The token still had a meme aesthetic and a day later Rod immediately started work on a more serious and corporate-looking visual identity for Stopelon, utilising the area of expertise he has held since 2005. Rod's assistance with Stopelon was so invaluable that a week later he was a core team member. He has since been promoted to the role of COO, keeping a watchful eye on all aspects of the movement.
Rod is a Brazilian graphic designer living in Rio de Janeiro with his wife, kid and dog Luke. Luke is a caramel-stray, which was one of the reasons Rod had invested in Doge, only to see his assets rot after Elon's appearance on Saturday Night Live in the US. He heard about Stopelon through his friends that suffered the same Doge fate.
Don got the idea for the project after that fateful day when Elon Musk famously tweeted and triggered the start of a new crypto bear market. At that very moment he saw his BNB holdings crashing in value and screamed in anger towards the billionaire. The original idea was to start the Fuckelon token as a fun meme and statement, but he did not imagine the success it would go on to have after the Stopelon relaunch.
Don is 40 years old and from Holland. He has been working with his hands and sweat all his life and that's just the way he likes it. He got heavily involved with crypto in 2017 when he first started mining and it has been part of his life ever since.
Dave enjoyed seeing his portfolio green for the first time in 3 years, only for it to suddenly go blood red after a certain someone tweeted. He then saw a Yahoo Finance news article about Fuckelon rugging to become Stopelon and decided to get on board. Later, he asked to join the Core Team because of his belief in the movement and wanted to be part of it no matter where it goes.
Dave is a Heavy Metal music fan who lives in the UK with his partner in love and their 3 kids. He has over 25 years experience in IT, starting out repairing computer equipment for news agencies and then working as a Sys Admin for Reuters in the early 2000s. Since 2004 he has been working in the Webhosting industry as a Sys Admin and IT Manager, before starting his own Webhosting business in 2012.
Imagine the scene. It is the 2021 crypto bull run and Shadows is actively trading on Binance. Then... CRASH! Shadows was forced to sell all his SOL and BNB holdings to cut his losses. At this moment he understood what had happened and went on to find out about Stopelon's precursor token on Yahoo! Finance. Two days later he made the decision to join the hype and entered Stopelon during its initial run through a 25 million dollar market cap. Shadows soon became one of the most active community members and was invited to join the Core Team as a Community Admin and later Website Developer.
Shadows is an old-school trader who turned into a long term investor after seeing the steadier benefits. He has been immersed in the world of crypto since the early days of coins such as Ripple. He took a break for a while but returned to the scene at the beginning of 2021, when he got back into stock and crypto investments. Shadows has been working as a Web Application Developer for the last 7 years and has a Masters Degree in Data Science.
